  • Thomas Templeton (Weill Cornell): A genome sequence survey for Ascogregarina taiwanensis supports evolutionary affiliation, but metabolic diversity between a gregarine and Cryptosporidium.

  • Paul Planet (Columbia University Children's Hospital) - Ready made resistance: evolution of resistance to interferon therapy in the hepatitis C virus.
